Lately Nathan has really been delving into more complex areas and asking the same question in many different ways trying to grasp and understand concepts that in the past he was happy with a very simple explanation. I get the feeling he's hit a new level of development and realises there is so much more to know and he's just so keen to tap into it.

Planets, the universe, gravity, water (where it comes from, how it stays on the earth, clouds and rain etc)
The human body - breathing (oxygen, air, gasses, energy), blood circulation, illness, what happens to the physical body once it dies
So this evening I asked him if he'd like me to organise a few extension ideas on learning more, to which he replied yes. Yikes! While he's happy to have me read books from the library about these things, I want to bring in some other means of finding out more. Just not sure how to approach it really - but I guess the key is to be OK about coming up with some ideas but then accepting if they are of no interest or if we veer off elsewhere which is totally cool with me.

Oooh, sounds exciting! Ciara is also really into the planets and things, which I enjoy, because it's interesting for me as well (I don't know that much about them, well except for Earth LOL). I love getting books out of the library with heaps of cool illustrations and things to chat about. Good luck working out your extension.
