Well, since I last wrote about Danielle getting to grips with riding the bike over the previous week, she has now started riding! Simon took her down to the park with some tennis courts over the weekend and on her 2nd attempt she zoomed off and was riding on her own. Still needs assistance with starting and stopping but was thrilled with herself to be to do it.

Building with dominos with dad...

After having been to the pantomime last week, Nathan was busy this morning constructing a stage set and backdrop to put on a puppet show for us. It's work in progress...

Later on we looked over a couple of our library books.

One had an example of a family tree in it so we started to look at one of ours (going back to my grandmother on my mum's side).

Danielle then got really enthused to do her own versions.

Nathan then had an Aha! moment where he realised that his Dangerous Book for Boys had a bunch of family trees in them and had fleetingly wondered what they all were over the last few years...

The afternoon had us walking down to Keas with Nathan (back after the school holidays). Nathan scootered there, and Danielle scootered home.

After returning from Keas, Nathan was very excited to receive a belated birthday present that had gotten lost in the post...more Lego! lol.
