The dare devil and the dreamer

The kids spent most of the day doing their own thing today - perhaps because both Simon and I were home? Danielle's going through a real "gotta hang out with daddy phase" so I think that accounts for a bit of it.

Simon was down in the garage this morning, so the kids set up a "camp site" outside.

Since reading The lion, the witch and the wardrobe, Nathan has wanted to make his own bow and arrow like Peter. So today Simon put one together for him.

This afternoon Nathan wanted to try flying by using a bag to break his fall - hmmm, let's just say we had a small discussion about why this experiment may not be successful from greater heights (which he wanted to do)!
