Tuesday

~ Playcentre morning - both kids were into art and collage today, Nathan was also into dressups and Danielle played with the baby dolls making them all "nu-nu" (nudey)
~ A whole box of matches have been struck, candles lit and candles blown out (he quickly worked out the rules of subtraction as the matches disappeared!).
~ Reading: The Magic Treehouse (Olympic Games), Charlotte's Web, various storybooks
~ While Danielle slept, Nathan did some DVD watching and computer play (starfall)
~ Nathan practiced writing while we were reading the magic treehouse (they have handwritten bits in them that seem to inspire him to want to copy out right there and then)
~ Nathan was my dinner helper tonight (he peeled a carrot and cut up the vegetables for our tacos)
~ Lego building (I noticed he was working on forming patterns and the combinations of smaller pieces required to equal a larger piece)
~ Trampoline bouncing
~ Danielle played with duplo and stacking boxes and organising things into boxes
